We ask that conference participants book hotel accommodations at the Westin Ft. Lauderdale Beach Resort. A discounted rate has been negotiated for our conference and we can incur penalty if our room commitment is not met. We have also negotiated a waived resort fee, reducing parking fee, and complimentary guest and meeting room Wi-Fi, only available to our New Directions guests staying at the hotel. Additionally, our discounted room rate will be available to you 3 days pre and post our event if you would like to stay awhile longer. Please identify yourself as a “New Directions” participant for the discounted conference rate and benefits.
Discounted Daily Parking:
For those not staying at the Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, we have still negotiated a discounted rate for your daily parking. Stickers will be available at the registration desk to place on your valet ticket for the reduced rate.
Beach Yoga:
For those looking for a bit of fun relaxation on Sunday morning (June 23rd) before the conference starts, there is a weekly beach yoga session ~0.4 miles north of the hotel from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM. Information and sign up can be found on THEIR WEBSITE. Please note, the conference or its organizers are not associated with, or endorsing, this yoga class. Rather, we are informing you of a social activity that attendees might find enjoyable to take part in.
