Spencer has been a member of the core since fall of 2021. He graduated from Flagler College in 2019 with his bachelors in Coastal Environmental Science, and is excited about his contributions to the work being done here at the University of Florida. When he is not in the lab Spencer enjoys exploring museums, parks, and local breweries around Gainesville.

Emily has worked in research since 2022 and became a member of the core in September 2024. She graduated from UF with a bachelor’s in animal sciences in 2023 and is currently pursuing a master’s in veterinary forensics. Outside the lab, Emily enjoys reading, exploring local breweries, and spending time with her pets.
